A Dallah is a traditional Arabic coffee pot used since the 17th century to serve Qahwa (Gahwa Arabic coffee) made through a multi-step ritual.
The ritual of making, serving and drinking coffee is used as a sign of hospitality, generosity and wealth, and shows the bond with friends, family and business partners.
Dallah has a distinctive shape, the most striking feature is a long spout with a crescent-shaped beak. The material is made of brass, silver, steel – even 24-karat gold for royal purposes.
